to Academy of Russian Classical Ballet

The Academy was formed in 2004 to offer students in Southeastern Michigan the opportunity to study classical ballet in a structure reminiscent of a traditional Russian ballet academy.  Our instructors  are classically trained former professional dancers who have studied at a variety of top international ballet schools and have performed extensively. Classes are available for beginning through advanced studies for children through adults.  The Academy was named Best Ballet Academy of Michigan in 2012.
 
Our goal is to maintain the highest quality classical dance instruction in a disiplined yet supportive setting. We strive to provide cultural opportunities and interchange while promoting an inclusive environment for students of all ethnic, racial, and religious backgrounds

Guest Artist, Yosvani Ramos, Principal of the Cincinnati Ballet

Yosvani Ramos was born in Camagüey, Cuba and trained at the National Ballet School, going on to dance with Jeune Ballet de France and Ballet de l'Opéra National de Paris after winning the Gold Medal at the Paris International Ballet Competition in 1998. He joined English National Ballet as a Soloist in 1999 and was promoted to Senior Soloist in 2000, then Principal Dancer in 2003 after his performance as Franz in Coppélia. He danced with English National Ballet until 2008 when he joined The Australian Ballet as a Principal Artist, where he remained until April 2013. Mr. Ramos joined the Cincinnati Ballet in 2014 as a Principal dancer
