Russian Ballet Summer Intensive

August 3-15th , 2015

We are very excited to offer our two-week Russian Ballet Summer Intensive to ballet students ages 8 and older. With classes taught by world-famous professional staff, this special program provides superior training in the Russian ballet style, focusing on building strong technique and developing artistry.  The program is in its sixth year, and has provided hundreds of ballet students from around the world with wonderful training and performing opportunities.

The Russian Ballet Intensive features classes in classical ballet technique, pointe, variations, partnering, men’s technique, contemporary, character, acting for stage and Russian language classes as well as question and answer sessions. Participants have the once-in-a-lifetime chance to perform in the spectacular closing gala of international ballet stars. Participants also have the opportunity to receive private coaching from the guest instructors.  We pride ourselves in providing high quality ballet education, and strive for only best. To ensure each participant receives the maximum benefit of the program, we limit the class size to maintain a small and personal environment.

All classes are held at our Wixom location, which features over 17,000 square feet of professional dance studios with sprung marley floors, dressing rooms, costume room and wardrobe facilities. The closing performance with international ballet stars is held at a professional theatre in the Metro-Detroit area. Past stars include Isabella Bolyston and Daniil Simkin of American Ballet Theatre, Maria Kochetkova and Gennadi Nedvigin of San Francisco Ballet, Yana Salenko of Berlin Ballet, and many more!

"The artistic caliber of this educational program and performance is not available anywhere else in the Midwest"
